LOS ANGELES — The Coast Guard, along with several local agencies rescued three individuals after their boat caught fire Friday, near Rancho Palos Verdes.The Coast Guard received a may day call via VHF radio ch 16 from the 44-foot sailing vessel, Laetitia, reporting that the vessel's engine had caught fire and began to spread with three people aboard. All passengers were directed to put on life jackets while resources were en route and move to the bow of the boat to keep away from the fire. ... SAN FRANCISCO — The Coast Guard and partner agencies monitored the salvage operations of the Khaleesi Thursday after the boat capsized in San Francisco near Pier 45 with 30 people aboard Saturday.The owners hired Parker Diving and Salvage to conduct salvage operations on the vessel. Following a raising, dewatering and fuel removal operation Thursday, the Khaleesi was towed to Pier 39 by its owners. Goodwin was last seen wearing a blue shirt and is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall with dark hair.  Goodwin was last seen on shore near Hana and was expected to swim out to meet a friend approximately 200 yards away offshore, but never arrived....
