ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.— The Coast Guard rescued four people after their boat started flooding near St. Petersburg, Sunday. At 6:40 p.m. watchstanders from Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg received a report of a Good Samaritan towing a flooding 20-foot boat near St. Petersburg. BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard rescued a man from the water Sunday in Duvall Creek in Annapolis. Local police contacted watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Baltimore at about 10:15 a.m. to report a sailboat capsized, leaving one person in the water. The man in the water initially used his cell phone to call 911. A 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew from Coast Guard Station Annapolis was already underway and diverted to respond to the distress. PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Coast Guard responded to a ferry that ran aground Saturday approximately one mile south of Ocracoke, North Carolina. MIAMI - The Coast Guard is involved in two separate cases, each involving a male being swept to sea by rip currents in South Florida Saturday. Coast Guard Sector Miami was notified of a 15-year old male who was swept to sea in North Palm Beach, Florida, near McArthur State Park. First responders from Coast Guard Station Marquette, Mich., Marquette City Fire Department and Marquette County Sherriff's Office prepare to bring a fisherman safely back to shore after he fell through the ice about 300 yards off of Presque Isle Harbor, March 13, 2015. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Coast Guard medevaced a 46-year old man from a fishing boat 64 miles northwest of Venice, Florida, Friday.  At approximately 1:24 p.m. watchstanders from Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg received a call via VHF-FM channel 16 stating a 46-year old Keith Clancy, aboard the fishing vessel Miss Brianna, was losing consciousness and needed emergency medical assistance. HOUSTON — A sheriff's deputy and junior Coast Guard woman provided CPR to a man after a good Samaritan located his body and hailed the two on the beach off Surfside Beach Thursday afternoon; they were not able to save him. Coast Guard Station Freeport, Brazoria County Sheriffs and Surfside Police were searching for the man after he was reported missing at about 1:30 p.m., by a woman who witnessed the man fall off a paddle board and not resurface.
