Coast Guard suspends search for missing kayaker near Texas City

HOUSTON — The Coast Guard suspended the search for a 22-year-old man who went missing after his kayak overturned in Dickinson Bay, Saturday afternoon.

Coast Guard air and boat crews searched the Houston Ship Channel and waterways around Texas City until 12:30 p.m. Sunday, exhausting search efforts in the area.
