Update 2: Waterway reopened to all traffic in Freeport, Texas

March 19, 2016

HOUSTON — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District completed salvage operations to remove a truck from the Intracoastal Waterway, near Bryan Beach Bridge, Saturday.

Mile marker 395 to 400 of the ICW is open to all traffic after being closed Friday evening.

There were no reports of pollution and the cause of the incident is under investigation.
