Coast Guard cutter Moray officer in charge temporarily relieved

BOSTON -- Rear Adm. Linda Fagan, Commander, First Coast Guard District and Capt. Brian Gilda, Commander, Coast Guard Sector Northern New England, relieved Senior Chief Petty Officer Christopher Bouchard Friday from his duties as officer in charge of Moray for loss of confidence in the ability to command.Final determination regarding a permanent removal or resumption of command is made by the Commandant of the Coast Guard in Washington, D.C.Senior Chief Petty Officer Charles Petronis, the current officer in charge of Station Jonesport, Maine, has assumed temporary command of the cutter.Bouchard will been temporarily reassigned to Coast Guard Sector Field Office Southwest Harbor, Maine.Moray is a 87-foot Coastal Patrol Boat homeported in Jonesport, Maine. For more information contact Lt.
