At around 11:30 a.m. crewmembers from Aids to Navigation Team St. Petersburg, were returning from servicing buoys in the Tampa Bay when they spotted an injured loggerhead sea turtle in the middle of the Sunshine Skyway channel.
Crewmembers safely recovered the turtle without further injury. The turtle was transported to Clearwater Marine Aquarium in stable condition.... [Read More]
